It is reliably comfortable and because it collapses it stores easily in your case.

I recommend the collapsible model because its legs are foldable and fit easily inside a smaller case. Amp; still retains my personal, customized heights and width for my violin.

Both sides of this shoulder rest, also have adjustable width, with various options, simply by using the small screw on each leg. Allows you to customize the shoulder rest - to perfectly fit the width of your violin.

These seem to be the best and are moderately priced. Don't try any of the cheaper ones.

The feet pads keep the pad on firmly i had another brand the kept falling off during a performance


There are some that are cheaper but i havent found anything that works better

    My previous should rest was a viva la musica rest and id had it for a long time the padding was wearing off and it would fall off frequently
