It is the best i have ever seen and definitely the most durable. It feels sturdy and well-made. It seems sturdy enough but it's the only thing plastic and would probably be stronger and blend in better with the rest of the design.

The handles squeeze together without very much effort and are not too big. The blade remains sharp, and the turning mechanism is smooth. It cuts the lid all the way around making it easier to remove the lid when you are done.

There is obvious care with this company, as the workmanship is beautiful! Thank you also, kukpo, for being responsive to questions and comments.

This is just a regular can opener that leaves jagged, dangerous edges. The gears slip around the can, it cuts on the side under the lid and if you do get the lid off, the edge of the can is extremely sharp. It is dull and skips gear teeth.
