Buy this with confidence. It works unbelievably well. I may have to order another just in case this one mysteriously disappears.

This is carbon steel - you really need to rinse and dry immediately after use. I usually rinse in super-hot water, pat dry, and the residual heat from the rinse fully dries the blade. No problems with rust.

Cons

It's completely wrong to call this handle ergonomic. Photos are totally deceptive. Hand washing recommended is not just inaccurate, but dishonest.

This peeler doesn't have enough substance or heft to make it through one potato. Maybe good for a youngster to learn to peel.
