Pros
Kuhn rikon 5l is a slicker design than my earlier pcs. Black beans are tastier if not soaked, or if soaked, cooked in the soaking water with the aromatics. About a half hour to make a beef stew, including prep.
Kuhn rikon is the gold standard. Works flawlessly, easy cleanup. The stainless steel is really heavy and super nicely polished. The quality of workmanship is second to none and the ease of cleaning is a breeze.
The exhaust valve on this model is beautiful and also extremely sturdy. Everything works flawlessly and the two sizes are very versatile. The quality is best.
Cons
It's not easy to remove the foam of the meat when making a broth. It's rather difficult because the materiel inside the pot is probably not well polished and there are pores.

Only reason i am giving this 4 stars because the price seems to be bit on the high end
Believe me this cookware is well worth the price

I tried using a kuhn rikon silicone ring that works for other folk but for me it only seals sometimes

I dont use the coneshaped kuhn rikon duromatic pressure cooker valve housing on top – other reviewers report the tabs break off and its just cosmetic
