Pros
Easy to install and adjust when following the instructions. Looks nice, hardly noticeable. The only dislike is that the plate is thicker than the old one.
These spring hinges are nice for gates because they make sure the gate closes behind you. The amount of self closing action can be adjusted with the included tool and pin.
Cons
After install it just didn't close the door at all. One of the springs no longer applies tension. I’m sure this could work for some applications but not my exterior doors.

These spring hinges were very easy to install since the holes were in the same places as the original hinges
Next i tried it from the 45degree position and the door closed with just enough force to push the latch into the threshold to latch

Looks better than the goldish ones they replaced

It is a challenge to adjust spring tension too much the door closes to quickly too little and the door does not fully close

So i had this back patio door which if not closed as soon as you walked out would swing open and bang against the door stop

Now the door just sits there like it should if opened halfway and will actually close to halfway on its own if opened all the way
