Using this to secure an air rifle to a hasp in a cupboard by looping the cable several times around the handle so that the rifle case can only be opened by removing a padlock and uncoiling the cable from the handle of the case as far as i can understand this set ui will comply with the new air gun laws in scotland for safe storage of an air weapon

Not thick enough to be used on its own but a deterrent against theft of the saddle in a quick release stem

But in conjunction with your dlocks it will at least act as a deterrent to any thief trying to quickly steal your bike saddle
