Pros

Kryptonite is known to have good and sturdy locks. Easy to handle and lock/unlock. Only problem is with the keyhole, which allows the key to turn even when it's all the way in.

Cons

Anti-theft protection is bogus and is false advertising. This is a hassle every time i use it. Instructions are also hard to follow. The directions and pictographs are very bad.

I believe that the wirecutter should rescind its endorsement of this model. This lock is very finicky and will not unlock sometimes. The fact that this company has made so many defective locks is a real mess.

The frame holder is worthless. Instead, it is heal together by friction and wobble around.

It was advertised as having 3 keys. After a few months, or a year, the key stops turning. Sometimes takes 5-11 tries to get the key to fully turn and unlock.

The shackle is too small to fit around the frame and rear wheel of either of them. Left me stranded with a toddler & bike trailer. All bike locks are a false sense of security but they should at least break due to a grinder or bolt cutters.

Unfortunately however the ulock does not fit around the tires of my ebike and i totally forgot about the fenders so i had to return it

A bit heavy but it’s nice to have a combination ulock and cable

I bought this for my ebike the lock is worth the price to protect my investment

Once installed its even harder to reinstall in a different location if you need to after youve trimmed the band
