Pros

Nice compact unit with lots of safety switches. Fast and powerful. Great purchase for a coffee lover.

Bean hopper lid can be used as a bean scoop. Fine grinding is a pleasure with these krups burr grinders.

Cons

Krups only allow you to half assedly log a purchase (not log a warranty in fact) if you create an account with them. There is no means of physically uploading a receipt that matches your address, so the warranty is in effect null & void.

It feels very plasticky and quite cheaply made. It's very noisy and makes quite a mess when grinding beans. The hole through which the grinds are dispensed clogs up regularly and coffee dust seems to cling to every surface of it.

At least several teaspoons of coffee wasted. The hopper lid has a safety mechanism that stops the machine from working if the lid is not on. The perspex container has a fiddly inconvenient lid and removing it means coffee grounds which stick to it, sp... Read More
