I was looking at other power banks with an ac outlet to charge my laptop but using a dc battery with a built in inverter to make ac power to plug into an power adapter that converts it to 20v dc again that goes into the laptop would be extremely inefficient

If you set the dc out port to the voltage you desire and then turn off the equipment connected to the port the unit will timeout and then reset the voltage to the default voltage

Before you can use it again you need to change the voltage again in order to power the device connected to the port
