Pros
It's chrome-plated and so far the chrome plating has held up well for me. The holder is solid and durable.
The chromed rails are adjustable for various sized stones from 5 1/2 to 9 inches. It grips my bench pretty solidly.
It's the exact same base you've seen on many youtube sharpening videos. I use a kitchen towel underneath it to catch any water or slurry that gets thrown around during sharpening. Easy to use base to sharpen straight razors and knives.

In comparing these types of stone holders i found this one to be a good value
Similar ones were near twice the price and as far as i could determine were of similar construction and materials
I dont see any difference from those i already own that look the same but were more expensive

It will hold a lot of different sizes the width doesnt matter at all because it only holds the two edges of the length

The others show signs of rust on the threading because i use them with water stones
