To me, the structural design of these headphones is really poor. It almost feels like planned obsolescence. The problem with this plastic is that it's susceptible to it becomes increasingly brittle after repeating flexing.

These cushions improve comfort sound insulation and sound reproduction
The band is made out of plastic that is so easily breakable
The good thing is that the product is genuine but it barely made it to me
Price
At regular price these are a bargain for their performance
I am an audiophile with 1000 plus headphones in my collection
Sad to see the price went up i got them for 40 bucks
Guess ill wait for a sale to pick these up again

Competitiveness
Pair this with gradogeekeria pads and you get a headphone that can compete with flagship ones
You just can’t beat the whole koss lineup in this price range
I also wont make the same mistake as with the px100 and will buy a few boxes to future proof myself
Some choices are available same drivers same manufacturer but they will have differents particularities at others prices

The known issue of the headband being a weak point and breaking has been the reason ive been through 2 sets of these already and is the only reason im not giving 5 stars across the board

Had to relax the band and add yaxi pads to have them not clamp tight and feel comfy

I heated the headband with a hair dryer and then set them on to something much wider than my head to stretch them out a bit and not clamp so tight

If on ear are uncomfortable for you usually i would suggest the porta pros instead for even better comfort
