Toilet as the hole where the chain attached to my flapper had broken had torn through the rubber

With a pair of needlenose pliers i simply pried open the chain connection where it attached to the new flapper took off the old chain off the old flapper and attached the old chain to the new flapper which i then popped into place attaching the top of the chain to the bar actioned by the handle and the flapper itself by placing the two holes around the pegs of the filler tube
