Id say that overall you will be pretty pleased with everything and if you happen to have a 40 42 waste there is no cutting necessary

The buckle does protrude out just a little more than a usual belt to accommodate the mechanism but not a show stopper

This is a pretty decent belt the website has it under gun belt but amazon says it aint

I like it because it doesnt bend in the middle like a cheap nylon or normal leather belt when you have to much weight on it due to the metal band inside the belt
