It will still hold your phone but it may not be able to swivel up cause of the weight

I had to cut it a little to make it fit in the place i wanted it in my pilot but this wasnt a problem

But after looking there were none that struck me as worth it so i bought this one knowing fullwell that it has a sticky part to attach to something and is not portable

My metal plate is placed in the bottom half of my phone inside my speck case so when i went to put the phone on it i discovered that when placed just so the weight of the top half of the phone keeps the stand and phone from falling

The arm and pivot on this product isnt nearly as good as the suction mount style clamps
