The product does what it says it does it holds the phone to your bike and given it doesnt it will be able to save the phone because it is also holding it from the headphone port

I have not used this on technical or single track trails i cant imagine anyone doing that with any mount thoughissues that were most important to me1 no rubber bands to hold the phone and block the screen although there are little clips in the back that look like you could use with rubber bands but i dont know why you would

Ive used this for a year or more crashed a couple times even and it has never let go of my phone
