Pros
Two different compounds make braking very predictable and progressive. The fin on the back plays a dual role of sweeping wet stuff off the rim and setting the toe-in for the contact surface.
These pads fit my coda (cannondale) cantilever brakes and were easier than most to install. Replaced the old dried-out pads on a 1984 schwinn le tour luxe with old-style dia compe centerpull brakes.
Cons
Even though they are plenty powerful for braking, the squealing, even after toeing in is unbearable. The problem with these is they do not use the standard cup washers to allow adjusting toe in/out. Description says cantilever and the pics show smooth... Read More

I bought a caliper brake for the front of my cruiser that came with the worlds worst set of brake pads
Maybe with the old style caliper brakes that come with cruiser bikes this is as good as it gets
I have a 96 trek with the original shimano m65t pads and had difficulty stopping going down a steep hill
As you can guess with the original brake pads the stopping wasnt too great to say the least

All i can say is wow what a great price for these premium pads

They are smooth and quiet at lower speeds but can slow you dont very fast when you need them to

Reasonable easy to install and stops my bike better than the disc brakes on my wifes bike
