I bought this at the same time i bought my build your own dso138 oscilloscope it payed for its self just for that one project this thing is absolutely the most fun to use and my favorite bench tool ever it will not replace an esr meter and they tell you that right in the instructions but for a meter that has limited esr abilities it does this well too ive been building solar circuits and it works great for inductors also i added a three pin insertable pigtail with three mini grabber probe hooks just insert the three pin connector to the unit and hook on your three leads works great
