I prefer to have my bowls be large, and these did not disappoint. My attached image is the bowl with oatmeal. Cereal requires a shallow bowl for optimal milk-to-cereal ratio.
These terra-cotta japanese ramen bowls are a great addition to our kitchen sets. The bowls are more than tall enough for a large bowl of liquid with your noodle. These are perfect for someone that enjoys making traditional ramen.

Well i was honestly hoping for a slightly smaller bowl one that might serve something beyond rice noodles and soup and complete the four elements of what makes a truly legendary bowl

Alas these will only see use in my household as rice noodles or soup which has overlap with noodles on occasion bowls so i guess we can say that theres truth in advertising as these will do what they say on the tin so to speak

I got so sick of using mixing bowls for my ramen and pho because they are tilty and always stay so hot

Also the terracotta is glazed on all surfaces except for the bottom so be careful if you have a nice finish on your table
