Pros
The magnet on it never comes loose and is actually pretty strong. It's durable and reliable. The hook isnt loose and when pulled to max it recoils great.
The design isn't the prettiest but the functionality of a tape measure like this is exactly what i was looking for as a metal fabricator. The tool features the typical tape measures whatnots.
Cons
The spring steel coil, that pulls the tape back in, broke insdie the case by shredding apart. Catastrophic failure of the return spring. The magnets that cause the stresses on the hook also allowing it to recoil too fast dosen't help.

This tape is rubber covered and will bounce when dropped instead of break and will probably not fall nearly as often
