Pros
This keeps the coffee hotter for longer. Cleaning it is easy but not as easy as just dumping the paper ones.
Cons
The water just pours straight through when using the normal aeropress method. But the water rushes through the filter as if it wasn't there. The result is a weak, watery cup of coffee.
Too much plastic and use of paper filters. The filter needs to be much finer. Paper works better, giving a more pressurised cup. Water just pours though, so it's difficult to get a good brew.
Aeropress only works with the inverted method. Who makes a coffee with an upside down mug? When used normally it doesn’t hold the water long enough to measure out what you need or give it a stir.
I'm all for eco choices, but this is more hassle that it's worth! Contacted the seller but ignored me.
Dont be fooled by some of the other reviews. Be warned. It's very hard to judge.

Some coffee professionals even advocate an 8 minute wait time but thats over the top for most people i think

The reason you have to use the inverted method is that this metal filter and all metal filters i imagine are too porous so they let a lot of water run through in the standard aeropress method before youve even pressed the coffee

This results in a really poor brew as you end up with too little water in the aeropress so the coffee doesnt have enough liquid to mingle with and release its flavours into in laymans terms
