Pros

Wonderful space saver. Wood is quite distinguished looking. Trundle pops up easily.

The bottom of the bed fits a max 8 thick mattress. Can fit up to an 8” twin mattress underneath. If you want more cushions for the back you could sit on it.

Cons

The twin xl mattress required for the daybed is too long for the trundle, which further causes issues with the transition to a king sized daybed. The trundle is also too big for the king sized bed.
