Pros
Easy to set up the film type, color/b&w etc. Just as easy to send the digitised photos to your computer via usb.
No time wasted loading and unloading negative and slide carriers. Great product and very happy with quality when reproducing my slides from over 40 years ago.
Cons
Do not buy this piece of rubbish. What a disappointing yet extremely expensive piece of plastic. The manual placement and movement of the slides is ridiculous.

I bought this kodak product instead of one of the cheap ones at about half the cost of this one mainly because of the kodak name

It cannot match the latitude of slides kodachrome for example that have high contrast scenes

To render detail in the highlights sky and clouds it crushes the blacks shadow areas

The date can only go down to 1980 if you try 1979 it jumps to 2050
