I had been using cfls but those were burning out fairly frequently and were difficult to replace as the ceiling is about 20ft high

I need the light so i left the pendant but regular bulbs gave off a lot of heat and my bald head would sweat

It is also dimmable for controlled lighting at night

The bulb itself runs very cool far less heat thrown off than a regular incandescent bulb

Note though that this bulb really does throw off white light if you prefer more of a yellowish color youll need to look elsewhere
