Pros & Cons

Pros

I definitely recommend this stand to anyone who's looking to step out of the bargain bin and into a functional and reliable microphone stand. On a budget, this is perfect.

The handle to tighten the mount onto your desk has the ability to slide back and forth. This often causes my desk to shake with me. The clamp is somewhat narrow, so add blocks of wood if you are using a glass desk. It stays put and does not sag.

The movement is smooth, it attaches securely and it looks professional! I have a quick release and a mic flag in addition to a shure smb7. My only qualm with it is that it is too stiff.

This is sturdy to hold a shock mount and the re320. Comes with two straps for cable routing. The spacing to run wire is big enough for both usb and xlr.

Cons

It appears to be attached simply by friction. There is no threading on the stand side or even epoxy.
