Pros
Clipped the wires cleanly, then stripped them cleanly for a nice soldered ends. Even has a adjustable stopper so con strip wires the same length! The stripping functionality is fully automatic, and it works for a large range of gauges.
Cons
It snips through the wire every time rather than stripping it.
The tool is not very good. It should be listed for just craft projects at the most. Total garbage. Will try to contact amazon for a return.
The 700d model smashes the sheath on all solid core wires. No pressure adjust, they either grab and pull half the wire strands off as well as the insulation, or won't grab the insulation at all. Used on a heavier gauge wire and the clip to pull broke.... Read More
