    I was going to buy a bunch of jumper cables but they were the wrong color and this was about the same price and i have some spare solid core wire so now i can just make my own wires easily

    I recommend practicing with it on some spare pieces of wires of the intended gauge before using it on any real projects otherwise you risk taking several inches off your wires while trying to get this to work properly

    When i received this tool the depth guide was slid so far into the jaws that i could barely get it out it took a screwdriver and patience to work it out

    It is constructed with both plastic and metal but the metal handle seems to be coated in a resistive paintlacquer

    I tested it with a continuity tester and couldnt find a path between any two points on the metal handle
