Pros & Cons
Pros
Worked perfectly for a 2010 f250 front axle.
Knipex tools are as good as/better than snap-on/proto/cornwell/etc. These pliers seem to be high quality. Very tough tool, no flex like most flimsy snap ring pliers.
Highlights
Quality
Great in quality work well as they should
These pliers seem to be high quality
Lesser quality pliers will either not reach or will benddeflect from the strain
Sure there are other brands that would work but i am familiar with the knipex brand quality and these were no different
Packaging/appearance
Was able to take off circle clamps off my backhoe hydraulic cylinders
Competitiveness
Used chinese junk on my f350 axle snap ring and they just broke and bent
I want to write this because i like to read reviews myself and i am always worried they are purchaced reviews

Wow if you don’t have this tool then you’ll be in a world of hurt and losing hours of your life trying to get that c clip off to replace or remove your front wheel hub and bearing assembly

It only has one purpose and it does it extemely well

Don’t cheap out just buy it and enjoy the time saved also one thing i noticed is that when i reinstalled the front axles and installed the the new hubs that the c clip didn’t seem to clip into its groove
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I had to pull the axle out just enough so that could see that the inside the hub was flush where the axle went through with a part of the hub wall
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
You could see all of the groove that the clip was supposed to seat into
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The distance is four cm and five mm or 1
