Pros

It accepts the edge pro stones so you can easily upgrade to diamond or 12,000 grit if that's your thing. The included stones are not of the best quality, but it’s easy enough to replace them with better ones.

Comes with a u-joint bearing for the angle rod that is much less sloppy than the lansky-style models. The swivel is smooth as can be, no hangups. The clamp provided is intended to attach the device to a table.

This inexpensive sharpening system can be used to sharpen small knives. It works even with knives polished under 1000 grit. There's almost no limit to how fine a polishing paper you can get.

Cons

Natural stones are fine, but the fabricated whetstone abrasives crumble like dry sandstone. Not something i would use to sharpen my expensive demascus kitchen knives with. no instructions, have to look at amazon pictures to assemble.

If you did it right you should have a much improved and useable flippable knife sharpener for a fraction of the cost of the pro options

It came with no instructions but utube videos on a variety of sharpening systems resulted in a short learning curve

I have used only once on a 440c steel pocket knife and even the 1500 grit will create a burr with one pass this may be user error though
