Pros

Varmint * is a favorite of largeemouth bass. Owner says he has hundreds of them around his ranch.

It's truly amazing how this thing works. It takes literally 30 seconds to set up and cleans in the same amount of time. Super easy to use and definitely effective.

Simple and foolproof. Works just as expected. Tt takes maintenance to empty and keep in working order. They still work but, they are starting to rust out.

Cons

This trap was marketed as humane. Instead, it scoops them up and dumps them into a chamber where they're stuck.

The mouse's head somehow got lodged between the revolving fan and the side wall of the chamber. The pressure plate was tested with a piece of straw and was found to be very heavy. The picture shows a steel lid for this item.

We had mouse problems for years and all of the other traps we used did not work or they worked very rarely

The traps do require periodic maintenance about once per week to empty and occasionally clear a jammed mouse
