Pros
Would recommend this ice pack. It does what its supposed to do and fits perfectly.
The ice bags take time to freeze but once they get an icy blue solid color (not clear blue), they stay cold for quite some time. Easy to warm up or freeze. Ease of use and quick to get cold are the reasons i highly recommendthis product!
The knee ice pack has an elastic band that holds it in place. The strap is a little large, however. It is great for wrapping around the knee.
Had knee replacement surgery. Helps with the pain and swelling. They help mold and hold so the ice pack can be used for many body parts.
Cons
The gel freezer pad only stays cold for approximately 15 minutes. They lose coolness within 30 minutes or less. Not enough area to provide any icing.
The biggest problem is plastic loop the strap passes through. If you move your knee at all, the plastic loop twists 90 degrees from vertical to horizontal. This is uncomfortable and loosens the strap.

Not one to sit still very long icing was a hassle and i tended to skip it which was not a good recovery plan

It works but you only get about 15 minutes of cold before it warms up to the point of being room temperature

I suppose youre not supposed to have cold on for too long anyway but getting maybe a full half hour would be a little better

The only issue was that when i heated it and tried to strap it in my knee the velvet did not protect my skin from the heated part of the bag attached to the strap

So i just didnt strap it oni just rested it on top of my knees because i wasnt going to walk with it anyway

I have the regular rectangle strip with velcro on the end and its ok

But this one that has seam on sides of the knee cap so it bends and shapes to your knees better and its more comfortable to wear and stays in place
