    I purchased this to attach to my portable solar panel to monitor voltagewattageamp when connected to certain connections typically to 12v charging a car batteryi was worried it might damage when the solar would cut off but it will power with both directions and can read power rating going in either direction so even when solar died if i swapped it to a device instead it would show power even though it was going opposite direction
