Pros & Cons
Pros
Not only is the pad extremely light and easy to inflate, it also deflates and packs up easily. It isn't a'self-inflating' pad like thermarest brand pads often are, but it still only takes me about 2 minutes to fully inflate it.
I have to say that the people at klymit have done a fantastic job creating a product that can easily compete with more expensive pads. Great value overall.
I'm sure it's going to help me get out camping and backpacking a few times this year. Had these out this past weekend during a rainy hot and cold weekend in michigan. Used it camping, hiking, staying the night at friends houses.
Cons
This one is only 1lb, but there's not a snowball's chance that is has a true 4. It's difficult to get all of the air out when rolling it back up. Spend the extra $10-15 and get a thicker, more comfortable, reliable thermarest camper.
Unless you are a very narrow person i strongly suggest checking the dimensions on this before ordering. No free returns. Very disappointed in this one, have to go straight out and get a new pad asap.
it's hard to blow up tightly, because the mouth piece is the kind that leaks when you use it. The valve leaks air. I am still very angry at the fact that these mats are sold with the distributor being fully aware that the valves don't work!
Highlights
Quality
Overall im very happy with this and will recommend it to others
Have used the static v and the vluxe and would not hesitate to buy them again
With the regular version i did notice colder air
It takes about 710 breaths to inflate and repacking is a pain but it is a good product

And considering the comfort the price is seriously amazing
The price is right if you are a thru hiker to a weekend warrior
Packaging/appearance
Was a little sceptical from the get go because im a side sleeper
Competitiveness
first of all watch out this is a nonreturnable item
I own a couple of thermarest pads and have never been able to sleep through the entire night on the ground comfortably
It isnt a selfinflating pad like thermarest brand pads often are but it still only takes me about 2 minutes to fully inflate it
