Pros

The 28f are vastly superior to the 14s in every way! Hard to say. They possess some restraint.

A yamaha rx a860 htr with 2 klipsch 28f fronts. The polk speaker are great speakers but really could use a subwoofer. If you do multichannel sacd or multichannels music in general, having full range tower speakers as rear surrounds is!

Quality

I’m also in love with 6000f so you can’t go wrong with the klipsch premiere sound

Amazing sound quality for music and movies

Punk or metal music may do better with the more aggressive sounding klipsch r620f or r820f

I decided to replace the 14s with the 28f and the 28f with the 8000f

Packaging/appearance

Sweeping around the room the sound from each speaker is matched perfectly whether coming from the 514 woofers in the center and...  Read More

Competitiveness

Movies and concert bluray discs are also incredible

These are the best speakers on the market at even double their price

Well they are better than the old polks but still not the massive improvement i was hoping for

It might be worth setting up a camelcamelcamel alert to watch for these on sale again

Classical music is a mixed bag some tracks are stellar while others are clinical or sterile cold or slightly thin sounding

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Poorly recorded choral or classical vocal will suffer from the unforgiving overrevealing nature of the rp8000f’s

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

A slightly warmer and less hyper detailed speaker like the klipsch r620f or r820f may suit classical music better unless you really like the hyper detail of thinner sounding rp8000f speakers

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Punk or metal music may do better with the more aggressive sounding klipsch r620f or r820f

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The rp8000f’s are a touch too polite or subdued for very aggressive rock

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

They can play loud no problem but these are not allout party animal speakers in attitude or demeanor

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

You would have to spend at least 2000 each to find more detailed speakers in general

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Some might prefer to add a subwoofer if you like visceral rumbling weighty low end presence
