Pros

Speakers have a dialogue lift with my avr, meaning the center dialogue can get added & spread out to the atmos speakers. Now i have front and surround height taken care of.

The overall craftsmanship is very good at this price point. Thunder booms powerfully, lightning cracks sharply, you hear every individual rain drop. Sound is very clear and full.

My only issue is that these are very overpriced for what they are. I look forward to getting them properly worn in with the others to really make them shine. I just want to you to buy 1 now before they disappear, hurry up!

Power is through a very capable onkyo tx-nr777. I just b'ot the rp-404c, and that will complete my 7. Setup. The apps haven’t been updated for it yet.

Gen 2 is the same speaker big picture, just with tweaks to very subtly change the midrange. Klipsch's reputation and history speaks for itself. These are the goldilocks of speakers.

There are many traditional bookshelf speakers that are much better performers for less money

The rp500m is a better full range speaker for 250 a pair nfm vs 500 a pair for these rp500sas
