Pros

The voltage sensor is sensitive and responsive. The read out is very well laid out and readable at a glance. The laser is pinpoint accurate and the measurement function can be set include or exclude the instrument length.

Cons

Trying to navigate klein's website and warranty instructions was a nightmare. I hope they issue a full refund or upgraded replacement device.

It's a very mediocre voltage tester and thermometer. As much as 30 degrees off. The thermometer is 10 degrees off (greater than the 3-5 degree tolerance the manufacturer states) with no way to calibrate.

The tailcap is a bad design shears off without warning. The included batteries are used and dead. Having to loosen and tighten the battery compartment seems to be the only solution.

This tool is for homeowners and diyers only. I expected more durability. Ncv seems to work ok, but considering how bad the ir is, how can you trust it?

I took it to a retailer and they replaced it but that is not fair to that retailer
