The only thing i notice is that it requires to be plugged direct on a pc or pos and not on a usb hub in order for it to work im thinking maybe of the power it requires that is why it needs to be pluged direct on the pc or pos

Although the instructions refer to the code configuration switch on page 1 its actually called enabledisable configuration code and its a barcode

I have used this scanner for a month scanning qr codes on a cell phone screen
