The problem with the trident style if the thing garter isnt tight it will slide around and the tension will be lost between sock and garter or garter and shirt

I recommend highly for guys with muscular legs and hips like me because when we wear tucked shirts they often come untucked because of the shifting of the shirt fabric

The securing mechanism is great in normal movement it does not come undone just dont run any marathons with this

Only real complaint about the product is that the clip mechanism onto the sock and shirt really dig into the shirt and socks and could damage the shirt and sock
