I was able to wind it just right so there wasnt a huge loop of wire between the base and the mini and it wasnt so tight it would stress the connector where the power cable plugs in to the mini

So i love this wall mount however i do just have one criticism i could have been mistaken but i thought they were supposed to include a adhesive magnetized little part that you can like thai stick to your wall so that it didnt necessarily have to be right over the plug and i didnt get one of those

I do find that every week or so i have to adjust it back into the outlet as the weight of it causes it to slowly fall out of the outlet and it is too large to plug in anything else into the other outlet without putting the google home mini on an angle to insert

As a note you have to really tuck the silocone back in place to get max surface area for the magnets to work well
