If using on batteries you must remember to turn off the rocker switch on back overwise the radio still uses batteries for the clockdisplay and batteries will be flat when come to use radio i learnt the hard way forgetting to switch it off

Overall a good radio i got it on eeeebayyyy for £36 so you can get pretty cheaply but im doing my public service by writing a review on amazon
