Not just for knives but sharpens scissors too. Works well on all types of blades. Can also do serrated knives, even though they need sharpening less often.

Cons
this is very irresponsible. Waste of money.
Small size and design makes it dangerous how close your hand gets to the blade when sharpening. Angle my knives are at is not conducive with this hand held sharpener. Fine section is weak/soft where it flexed so it doesn't allow the blade to hone.

This sharpener will work great for keeping your blades sharp but doesnt do such a great job at removing small chips

Its quite small so make sure you keep it in one placeive actually lost it a few times in the five plus places ive lived since i bought it
