Pros & Cons

Pros

This sharpener sharpens all but the thickest knives. Maintenance of exact angles is a cinch. Preserves quality of wustof and henckel knives.

Small footprint, no electric required, customizable angle to handle all of my knives. Even does the serrated types. Large grip makes it hard to hurt yourself while sharpening and honing a blade.

Kitcheniq with the ceramic stones is much better than the smiths version which uses carbide cutters. Carbide pull sharpeners tear a blade edge up. This allows for durability and redundancy, but it also sacrifices how well a blade can cut.
