Pros

Kitchenaid stand mixer is a workhorse of a mixer. My husband loves it for the sound the worms gear make when running. The only problem i have is the difficulty adding ingredients due to beater placement.

Dishwasher safe, except the whisk. Easy to attach accessories.

Cons

Kitchenaid seems to becoming an inferior product. Recipe on a kitchen-aid calls for 12 minutes with dough hook, the bowl stays on for 20 seconds. Kitchen aid should be ashamed of themselves.

When i went to reinstall it, the * thing is some kind of hyper-custom screw head. Not torx, not allen, certainly not phillips.

I have never had that issue with the others

It doesnt come with the original white coloring on the attachment end or rim around the mixer but the color matches well and looks great

Price

Yes it is refurbished but i know i know i took a chance because of the price was finally within reach

And the kitchenaid brand has been built over year for its dependability and value

It looks like i bought my 5qt artisan in november 2005
