Pros & Cons
Cons
Warning label on box. Buyer beware. Contacted seller and no response.
The hole is smaller than the original and it is not tapered like the original. It is unacceptable to have paint coating likely chipping off into food. Returning for a stainless steel one.

The new stainless steel beater is almost three times as heavy as the old powdercoated zinc 346 grams vs 127 grams it fits fine ... Read More
Great replacement blade after my original one started wearing out
This water had caused the better to start to rust and bubble up under the plastic
The ease of mixing blending even thick hard to stir recipes
Price
A little more money than standard white one that is included but wont chip off like that one
In my opinion it is worth paying a little more for a product that has the exact design to mix ingredients correctly
Shipping
Came early and fit as it should
Packaging/appearance
There were no precise cleaning instructions included in the box or on the box
Competitiveness
A few stores sell the attachment 3 pack but it is not as easy to find just the paddle by itself it seems

I considered replacing it with a nonoem paddle that might work but not be an identical replacement

The heavier weight is concerning but i hope kitchenaid has determined the weight won’t have an adverse effect on motor life

I purchased the flat stainless steel beater for my vintage hobartmade kitchenaid stand mixer because the old white flat beater had had part of its white coating removed by friction with the bowl
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
It moved so smoothly in the bowl fit much more snugly on the spindle sliced through the thick dough i was mixing and was in all ways just vastly superior to the original beater
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Cleanup was also a breeze as the dough slid off this beater so much more easily that its predecessor

So my mother got a newer mixer and gave me her 30 year old one that still works great but like most of the paddles that come with it the paint at the bottom that sits in the bowl has chipped
