Pros
The only problem i saw, and it doesn't even bother us, is that in the right light the stainless steel seems discolored. The stainless steel makes it look good and is easy to wipe clean.
This one is accurate, sleek and easy to use. It uses a 9 volt battery. The only bummer, is that it takes 9 volt batteries and i wish it had come with one.
The kitchenaid scale is easy to use, compact and attractive. The kitchen scale is a necessity in most households. It's a bit larger than many electronic kitchen scales, so you need adequate counter and/or storage space for it.
The scale is controlled by three touch-screen *. It is a little chunky looking, but this is personal preference. This scale is sleek, compact and accurate.
Cons
When you turn this device on it does this circling show before the display settles to 0. It turns off in a matter of perhaps 2 minutes of inactivity. Doesn't work.

It cost me about 12 to change batteries 2 or 3 times a year
Works great looks good well worth the price
Its been so reliable i would say its definitely worth the price
Competitiveness
Looks good accurate and is even plenty big to hold a big 6qt mixing bowl
But there may well be things i have not thought of which are significant to a chef
Im not a chef cook or kitchen expert in any way
It does result in an attractive design without a separate buttondisplay panel

When the glass under the plastic breaks the scale no longer works so be careful and dont drop this scale because its very very fragile
