Tip ive found that piercing a hole or even two in the top of the egg with a paper clip breaks the vacuum between egg and shell and definitely makes prying the egg top from the egg easier

If i redesigned this enjoyable item id add a thin point to the internal apex of the portion that meets the egg to perform the function of the paper clip
