When it arrived iinstalled 2 rechargeable batteries but it didnt work

When i first used them i was making bread and needed just 1 gram of yeast but the scales just would not weigh such a light amount y other scales did but no matter what dish i used on these scales they would not measure anything under 2 grammes correctly
