The ridges work perfectly for letting moisture drain out of dishes i just wish it was a little more sloped so more of the water would drain into the sink faster however if it was too sloped you wouldnt be able to use it because your dishes would slide off

Its not so large that it doesnt fit the small space i have for it but its also not so small as to be not helpful

The other side catches the water until you are done and then you dump it out
