I believe this unit is supposed to stand up straight only

I believe having it not at a 90 degree angle causes water to flow up to the front and you would have leaks

If you installed a regular faucet and tilted it instead of keeping it at a 90 degree angle you are going to have leaks because the other parts where the leverhandle is not sealed
