This costume fit my elementary schooler quite well, but i wouldn't buy it for a middle schooler or up. The tail is wired and can be posed. The bow tie is gathered with a white satin ribbon.
The ear headband is very cute! The pink inlay is why we selected this product over similar products. Blurb these for my daughters ballet recital.
