My tv is 8 yr old lcd w only one hdmi and my dtv receiver is outdated as well so i still gave it 4 stars bc its online reviews are strong

Therefore dont be afraid to try the kinivo k500 if you have more updated technology amazon has a terrific return system if it does not work out and then you can try something else

The reason for my 4 star rating rather than 5 stars is that i think it should clearly state that this switch cannot smart switch away from anything that does not have a power button

Roku appletv google chromecast and amazon fire do not have off switches

There for this device can not leave those signals to switch to another signal wit out using the included remote to switch the port

Update further research shows that this device is compatible with my harmony remote

I use my tivo remote as my sort of primary remote perhaps this particular device will change that or maybe ill return this for the version that doesnt support 4k
